As a 3rd Generation mold maker, we take pride in our abilities and our technology. I truly believe we are among the best in the business. At Chipsco, our team of Tool-Makers are second-to-none.

Chipsco was founded in 1980 by my grandfather, who was an engineer at Talon. Talon is credited as the inventor of the modern zipper. This area of the country boasts the largest concentration of the absolute best tool makers in the world. Born from Talon, Meadville’s rich history in manufacturing carries on today. This combination of skilled work and innovation cultivated a local cottage industry; one that has since flourished since the late 19th century, earning Meadville the moniker, The Tool & Die Capital of the World.

At Chipsco, we have enough horsepower to handle many large projects simultaneously, while offering the personal, face-to-face service that can only be provided by a family-owned business.
